Ag Research Portal

This forum provides news on software updates and development progress on the Ag Research Portal.  This application is being designed as a rich featured end-user application for DIFM Grant Administrators, Scientists and PI's. 

It is important at this stage of development to obtain feedback on the data migration progress to verify the integrity of legacy data converted into the database.   This application is integrated into the Oracle Identity Cloud Services (IDCS) and has a self-registration feature. 

 

Downloading AsApplied Data from the Ag Research Portal

Gathering data from an end-user application integrated with a database should be straight forward and easy.  This video demonstrates a feature in the Ag Research Portal that allows an administrator to download As Applied Data using a set of cascading select boxes.

Integration with Oracle IDCS Complete!

The DIFM Ag Research Portal and Farmers Portal is now integrated with Oracle IDCS and there is self-registration for farmers and research scientists.   Both applications remain under development but the underlying scaffolding is built and being tested.

Ag Research Portal:  Is an end-user application under development designed for PI's and Stakeholders to access, review, edit migrated data residing in DIFM's Autonomous Data Warehouse in the Oracle Cloud.  

Farm Portal: Is an end-user application allowing farmers to register for OFPE Trials, upload necessary data for implementing those trials.  

Integrating user registration with IDCS and managing application & data access with IDCS satisfies essential requirements of Phase I of the software development plan.
